What to Expect During Severe Weather

At Mainstream Fiber Networks, we understand how important it is to stay connected, especially during severe weather. With recent forecasts predicting potential storms in our area, we want to reassure you that we are committed to restoring service as quickly as possible should any outages occur.

What to Expect During Severe Weather

Severe weather can bring high winds, heavy rain, and power outages, all of which may impact your internet connection. If your home loses power, please be patient as local utility providers work to restore electricity. Once power is restored, your internet service may take a few minutes to come back online. We recommend allowing about 15 minutes for your device to reset before reporting any storm-related service interruptions.

Reporting an Outage

If you experience an outage due to the storm and your service does not automatically restore after power is back on, we’re here to help. You can submit a support ticket through one of the following methods:

Staying Safe and Prepared

We encourage all of our customers to take the necessary precautions ahead of the storm, including charging essential devices, securing outdoor equipment, and staying informed through local weather alerts. Your safety and connectivity are our top priorities, and we appreciate your patience as we work to restore service as efficiently as possible.

Thank you for choosing Mainstream Fiber Networks. We’re dedicated to keeping you connected, rain or shine.
