A $1.5 million upgrade to our main office in Brown County has drawn some attention from media and politicians who want to help connect rural Hoosier residents and businesses. U.S. Senator Mike Braun had lunch with about 60 Mainstream employees who were curious to hear about how he planned to connect rural communities with the internet they deserve.

Senator Braun highlighted his frustration with the lack of internet in rural areas and how challenging it was for him to grow his business without the necessary tech-infrastructure. By the time the meeting was over, Senator Braun lauded Mainstream's commitment to bring fiber-optic internet to the unserved and underserved.

Senator Braun viewed Mainstream's upgraded facilities, including the expanded training facility, and network operations center, as the company works to grow and add 50 new positions. For a list of open positions, please visit Mainstream's career page.

Mainstream continues to grow and is on a clear path to being the predominant rural fiber-optic internet provider in Indiana.
